Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee

The Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee (SOPC) is an independent higher sports organization supported by the government of Saudi Arabia to achieve its goals. It is the only organization that represents the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all Olympic activities and competitions as well as multiple sporting events at the regional, continental, international and Olympic levels. It has various objectives and responsibilities which include guaranteeing that the Olympic Charter adheres to all of the International Olympic Committee’s decisions, and promote the Olympic values and Olympic & Paralympic movement, to name a few.

Client’s Challenges.

The SOPC had a website which has been up and running for many years, but no longer contained content that reflects the company’s latest achievements and milestones. Not only did the text content need updating, the visual content including overall design and user journey also needed to be revamped. Because of this, the SOPC sought out a website design and development agency that they can trust to deliver a brand new website for the company. Through the strength of our portfolio and methodology, ^PERPETUAL Agency got awarded this exciting project and initiated the process right away.

Our Strategic Approach.

To start off, our Account Management team conducted a kick-off meeting with the client to align all the key stakeholders with the agreed scope of work and timeline. We understood from the get-go that the client wanted a modern website that matches international standards, therefore we did our research and looked at the websites of similar organizations around the globe, and took note of the elements that the client specifically liked about them.

Keeping our findings in mind, our team of UX and UI experts then developed a sitemap, followed by the wireframes which showed the client how the website will be structured as well as the journey that the users will take from one point to the next. After receiving the official approval, we went ahead and developed the UI design to bring the approved wireframes to life. It was then on to our team of website developers to code, test and deploy the website after completing all the required adjustments and receiving the green light from the client.

Results.

After a few months of hard work and dedication, the new website is now up and running. The new website not only reflects the brand’s latest achievements but also elevates the SOPC’s brand image regionally and internationally.
